My Approach

My approach is integrative, collaborative and trauma- informed, with a strong focus on safety and steadiness. Therapy is shaped around you, your needs and your unique way of experiencing the world. It is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

As a therapist, I support you to explore your experiences with compassion and curiosity, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions and the patterns that may be affecting your life. I believe that people have the capacity for growth and change, and that you are the expert in your own life.

I will work alongside you to help you understand yourself more fully and connect with your own inner resources, rather than giving advice or offering solutions. As you develop greater self-awareness and trust in yourself, you may begin to make meaningful changes and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Depending on what you bring to our sessions, I draw from a range of theoretical approaches including:

  • Person-Centered Theory

  • Gestalt Theory

  • Transactional Analysis

  • Polyvagal-informed approaches

  • Attachment Theory

  • Psychodynamic Theory

Neuro-affirming Practice

I offer a genuinely neuro-affirming space. One that works with how you think and process, rather than asking you to fit a neurotypical model of therapy. My work is informed by postgraduate training in Autism studies. I have a deep understanding of masking, sensory overload, rejection sensitivity dysphoria and burnout.

If you have spent your life feeling like you were doing everything slightly wrong, or exhausting yourself trying to keep up, you don’t need to do that here.

For many people, a late identification can completely reframe a lifetime of experiences, bringing a brand new perspective to your history and how you move through the world. That process deserves careful, informed, and genuinely understanding support.
