A Little More About Me

I’m Michelle, a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in Cork, offering in-person therapy in Ballincollig and securely online across Ireland.

My path into this work has been shaped by more than twenty years of engagement with neurodiversity through study, advocacy, professional experience and lived experience. As a Teaching Council-registered teacher, I provided home tuition to autistic children, supporting them in ways that honoured their individual ways of learning, relating and making sense of the world.

This background has informed my understanding of the many ways people adapt and cope, and of what it can feel like to be misunderstood by the world around them. Because of this, I hold a deep respect for the uniqueness of each person’s story.

I am committed to helping you feel genuinely heard and accepted. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, make sense of difficulties, process painful experiences and develop new ways of responding.

I work in accordance with the IACP Code of Ethics and attend regular clinical supervision, supporting safe and ethical practice.
