Welcome, I’m Michelle. I’m really glad you found your way here.

Sometimes life can look fine from the outside, yet inside it can feel heavier, more confusing, or more difficult than we want it to be.

You may have been holding everything together for a long time. Quietly coping, adapting, and pushing through while a part of you wonders if life could feel different.

I believe every person has a story, and that how we experience the world, relate to others, and understand ourselves is shaped by our relationships, our experiences, and the ways we have learned to cope along the way.

You might notice:

• I feel anxious all the time and don’t know how to switch off. | • I understand things in my head, but I can’t seem to change how I feel. | | • I’m exhausted from trying to keep everything together. | • Something has changed in my relationship and I don’t know how to make sense of it. | | • I keep putting everyone else’s needs before my own. | • I’ve experienced a loss or difficult event and I’m struggling to move forward. | | • I feel disconnected from myself and I’m not sure when that happened. | • I’ve spent years adapting to other people, and I’m beginning to wonder what I actually want.

You may also notice that you’re more irritable or exhausted than you used to be, that everyday tasks feel overwhelming, or that the ways you once coped no longer seem to work. You might care deeply about your family or your career, yet still feel strangely absent from your own life. These are not signs of failure. They may be ways you have learned to manage life that no longer serve you in the same way.

* Feeling more irritable or exhausted than you used to be.

* Small tasks becoming overwhelming, even things like replying to messages.

* Old coping strategies no longer helping in the same way.

* Caring deeply about your family or your career, yet feeling absent from yourself.

* Losing sight of who you are after years of adapting to others’ needs and expectations.

Therapy can support you in:

* Understanding your emotional patterns — noticing what gets activated in you, why it happens, and how these patterns developed over time.

* Reconnecting with yourself — building greater self-trust, clarity, and compassion for your own experience.

* Recognising your needs and creating healthier boundaries, so you feel less responsible for other people’s emotions.

* Understanding your relationships, including patterns that may feel confusing, painful, or difficult to change.

* Finding more freedom in how you respond to life, rather than feeling stuck in old ways of coping.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a steady, respectful space where we can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and the ways your experiences may be held in your body and nervous system. You set the pace.
